Therapeutic Modalities

Talking therapies alone are not enough to reach the subconscious parts of the mind that are affected by trauma.

Therapy for Women

Psychodrama, a therapeutic method that uses spontaneous dramatization, role playing, and dramatic self-presentation, can help people move past cognition and into the unconscious mind where they can begin to regulate the areas that drive dysfunctional behavior.

It also helps clients learn the skills of emotional regulation, which will help them bring themselves back into balance whenever they feel triggered or overwhelmed by stress and emotion.

Recovery is Possible

Willow House at The Meadows incorporates a variety of treatment methods and therapies to help our patients achieve long-lasting recovery from intimacy disorders and love addiction. In a safe and nurturing community composed of their peers, women are guided on their journey of recovery by examining the underlying causes of addiction and co-occurring disorders. The goal is for these individuals to gain the courage to face difficult issues, including grief and loss; heal from emotional trauma; and become accountable for their own feelings, behaviors, and recovery.
